Federal Direct Appeals Case Results

Case Results:  Life Sentence reversed. Client hired our law firm after a different attorney represented him and he was sentenced to life imprisonment. Attorney Tim Bower Rodriguez filed the brief and appeared before the 11^th Circuit Court of Appeals for oral argument. The 11^th Circuit Court of Appeals agreed with our argument and reversed our client’s life sentence.

Case Results:  Sentence reversed by the federal appeals court. We appealed our client’s case to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals regarding our contention that the district court erred in denying his motion for judgment of acquittal. The federal appellate court agreed with our legal argument and reversed the conviction and sentence of 13 years and remanded the case to the district court for re-sentencing.
